Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Marcellus Barksdale, 6-0 Jr. Darius Gibson, 6-2 Sr. Todd Bradley, 5-11 Sr. Kendale Mack, and 6-2 Sr. Ryan Fucci.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-4 Fr. Jordan Green, 6-2 Sr. Trae Stewart, 6-6 Sr. Daniel Kiesling, 6-0 Sr. Brandon Nichols, and 5-8 Jr. Wes Kimball. Note: 6-0 Sr. Kendrick Prewitt did no play tonight for Henry Clay.

Tates Creek led 45-24 in the final quarter on their way to a 53-42 victory over Henry Clay tonight.   Henry Clay was cold from the field (23.6%) from the field and was dominated on the boards (46-33).  Tates Creek held a 26-6 advantage on points in the paint.

Tates Creek shot 37% from the field including one of nine from the three point line.  The Commodores connected on 18 of 30 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored three points off 11 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 23.6% from the field including six of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored seven points off 13 Tates Creek turnovers.

Ryan Fucci led Tates Creek with 20 points and seven rebounds.  Marcellus Barksdale added 16 points and eight rebounds.  Todd Bradley chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds.

Brandon Nichols led Henry Clay with 12 points including three three point baskets.  Jordan Green added nine points and eight rebounds.
