Henry Clay coach Justin Schommer started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Kayla Price, 5-7 So. MacKenzie Claus, 5-8 Jr. Sydney Dunham, 5-3 Sr. Kiki Morris, and 5-8 Sr. Candace Morton.  Sayre coach Scott Sutton countered with 6-0 Jr. Maddie Mitchell, 5-10 Sr. Bea Cameron, 6-1 8^th grade Gabby Bowie, 5-5 Jr. Sophie O’Rourke, and 5-7 Jr. Emily Culbertson.

Henry Clay defeated Sayre by a score of 49-43.  Henry Clay shot 30.8% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 12 of 22 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 21 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 43.9% from the field including one of four from beyond the arc.  The Lady Spartans connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Henry Clay turnovers.

Candace Morton led Henry Clay with 21 points including three three point baskets and pulled down seven rebounds.  MacKenzie Claus added nine points.  Kayla Price and Sydney Dunham chipped in with seven points each and six and four rebounds respectively.

Maddie Mitchell led Sayre with 14 points.Gabby Bowie added 13 points, nine rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Bea Cameron recorded eight points, six rebounds, and seven assists.
