Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Trae Stewart, 6-0 Sr. Kendrick Prewitt, 6-6 Sr. Daniel Kiesling, 5-8 Jr. Wes Kimball, and 6-0 Sr. Brandon Nichols.  Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. countered with 6-0 Sr. Brenton  Covington, 6-2 Sr. Nick Ford, 6-6 Jr. Hunter Allen, 6-1 Jr. John O’Bryan, and 6-0 So. Dominique Hawkins.

The score was tied 42-42 after three quarters but Henry Clay pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Madison Central by a score of 59-54.  Henry Clay shot 42.9% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 13 of 24 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored five points off 14 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 32.7% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 14 of 30 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Henry Clay turnovers.

Wes Kimball led Henry Clay with 18 points and six assists.  Kimball was six of nine from the field including one of three from beyond the arc and five of six from the free throw line.  Kendrick Prewitt added 12 points.  Daniel Kiesling recorded 10 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  6-4 Fr. Jordan Green chipped in with eight points and nine rebounds.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 23 points including three three point baskets, pulled down five rebounds, and recorded four steals.  Nick Ford added nine points and eight rebounds.  Hunter Allen recorded six points and 10 rebounds.  6-4 So. Quan Taylor pulled down eight rebounds.
