Franklin County coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Will Bell, 6-3 Jr. Eric Meyer, 6-5 Jr. Garrett Hamilton, 6-0 Sr. Jacon Hobbs, and 5-10 Sr. Logan Clouse.  Lafayette coach Greg Coldiron countered with 6-5 So. Nick Trisko, 5-10 Jr. William Johnson, 6-7 Fr. Jackson Davis, 6-1 Sr. Dee Yarbrough, and 5-9 Fr. Charles “Snoop” Johnson.

Franklin County trailed 76-71 with less than two minutes remaining in the game but rallied to defeat Lafayette 78-76.  Eric Meyer hit a three point basket with less than eight seconds remaining on the clock to provide the winning points.

Franklin County shot 58.8% from the field including an amazing 15 of 24 from the three point line.  The Flyers connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 21 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 48.5% from the field including five of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 33 points off 24 Franklin County turnovers.

Eric Meyer led Franklin County with 20 points including six three point baskets.  Garrett Hamilton added 15 points including three three point baskets.5-10 So. Ryan Timmons recorded 14 points and six assists.  Jacon Hobbs chipped in with 10 points.  William Bell pulled down nine rebounds.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and four steals.  6-0 Sr. Jalen Wilkerson added 16 points including four three point baskets.  Dee Yarbrough recorded 15 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists.
