Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Annamarie Campbell, 5-6 Jr. Jade Tubb, 5-10 Sr. Morgan Clemons, 5-5 Sr. Hannah Washle, and 5-4 Sr. Maddie Peabody. Seneca coach Willie Jackson countered with 5-9 So. Niya Anderson, 5-8 So. Kennedy Crockett, 6-0 So. Sabrina Jackson, 5-8 So. Jada Grady, and 5-8 Sr. Anastasia Williams.
Sacred Heart outscored Seneca 22-1 in the second quarter on their way to a 67-33 victory. SHA shot 43.9% from the field including two of 13 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 33 points off 32 Seneca turnovers. Sacred Heart held a 35-2 advantage in bench scoring. Seneca shot 33.3% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Redhawks connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored four points off 19 Sacred Heart turnovers.
6-1 Jr. Jazmin Smith led Sacred Heart with 14 points, eight rebounds, and four steals. Morgan Clemons added 12 points and eight rebounds. Clemons scored her 1000th career point tonight. 5-9 Jr. Sandy Gahafer and Annamarie Campbell each scored eight points.
Jada Grady led Seneca with 15 points including four three point baskets. Sabrina Jackson added 10 points and six rebounds.
