Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Taylor Martin, 6-4 Sr. Scott Schuette, 6-5 Jr. Craig Floyd, 5-10 Jr. Bryan Woomer, and 6-0 Sr. Seth Beckham.  Lafayette coach Grg Coldiron countered with 6-5 So. Nick Trisko, 5-10 Jr. William Johnson, 6-7 Fr. Jackson Davis, 5-10 Sr. David Ross, and 5-9 Fr. Charles “Snoop” Johnson.  Note: Dee Yarbrough did not play tonight.

Lexington Catholic defeated Lafayette by a score of 80-60.  Lexington Catholic shot 50.8% from the field including 12 of 24 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on eight of 17 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 25 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 39.2% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 17 of 30 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Scott Schuette led Lexington Catholic with 21 points including five three point baskets.  Taylor Martin added 18 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and five steals.  Bryan Woomer recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.  Seth Beckham added 10 points, six rebounds, and six assists.  Craig Floyd also reached double figures with 10 points.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 29 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Davis was eight of 12 from the field including one of two from beyond the arc, and 12 of 17 from the free throw line.
