Madison Central (14-7)  vs.  Pulaski County (20-3)

Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Nick Ford, 6-0 Sr. Brenton Covington, 6-6 Jr. Hunter Allen, 6-1 Jr. John O’Bryan, and 6-0 So. Dominique Hawkins.  Pulaski County coach Al Gover countered with 6-1 So. Tyler Goins, 6-0 So. Kody Johnson, 6-5 Sr. Jake Bales, 5-10 So. Taylor Gover, and 5-11 Sr. Alex Abner.

Pulaski County led 54-51 after three quarters and pulled away in the final period for a 78-66 victory.  There were a total of 50 personal fouls called tonight (25 on each team) and 63 free throws shot in this foul marred contest.  Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. was ejected from the game in the second quarter.

Pulaski County shot 54.3% from the field including six of 11 from the three point line.  The Maroons connected on 22 of 29 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 10 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 31.1% from the field including three of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 25 of 34 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Pulaski County turnovers.  Madison Central held a 19-6 advantage on second chance points.

Kody Johnson led Pulaski County with 35 points tonight.  Johnson was 10 of 18 from the field including four of six from the three point line and 11 of 13 from the free throw line.  Taylor Gover added 19 points.

Hunter Allen had a big game for Madison Central with 19 points and 18 rebounds.  Dominique Hawkins added 16 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Nick Ford chipped in with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
