Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Taylor Martin, 6-4 Sr. Scott Schuette, 6-5 Jr. Craig Floyd, 5-10 Jr. Bryan Woomer, and 6-0 Sr. Seth Beckham.  Madison Central countered with 6-2 Sr. Nick Ford, 6-0 Sr. Brenton Covington, 6-6 Jr. Hunter Allen, 6-1 Jr. John O’Bryan, and 6-0 So. Dominique Hawkins.

Lexington Catholic outscored Madison Central 28-14 in the second quarter on their way to a 79-70 victory.  Lexington Catholic shot 50% from the field including nine of 24 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 49% from the field including four of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Scott Schuette led Lexington Catholic with 26 points including seven three point baskets.  Taylor Martin added 23 points, four rebounds, and four steals.  6-4 Sr. Hunter Porter chipped in with 11 points.  Seth Beckham recorded eight points, six rebounds, and eight assists.

Brenton Covington led Madison Central with 22 points including two three point baskets.  Dominique Hawkins added 14 points, eight rebounds, and three steals.  Hunter Allen chipped in with 10 points and five rebounds.
