Dunbar coach Justin Yeary started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Lamont Johnson, 6-1 Jr. Zach Herrin, 6-4 Sr. Sean Lamanna, 5-11 So. William Gary, and 5-10 Sr. Clay Coyle.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-2 Sr. Trae Stewart, 6-0 Sr. Kendrick Prewitt, 6-4 Sr. Ryan Patton, 6-0 Sr. Brandon Nichols, and 6-2 Sr. Nate Parker.

Henry Clay defeated Paul Dunbar by a score of 67-58.  Henry Clay shot 45.6% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 32.3% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored six points off 13 Henry Clay turnovers.

Brandon Nichols led Henry Clay with 13 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Kendrick Prewitt also scored 13 points.  Nate Parker added 11 points including three three point baskets and pulled down six rebounds.  Trae Stewart pulled down 10 rebounds.

Lamont Johnson led Dunbar with 22 points and 24 rebounds.  Clay Coyle added 13 points and William Gary chipped in with 10 points.
