Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Annamarie Campbell, 5-11 Sr. Monica McGreal, 5-10 Sr. Morgan Clemons, 5-5 Sr. Hannah Washle, and 5-4 Sr. Maddie Peabody.  Christian Academy of Louisville coach Don Rice countered with 5-10 So. China Dow, 5-6 Sr. Emily Walden, 5-7 Sr Paige Gardner, 5-7 So. Kate Joss, and 5-7 Jr. Katie Shaheen.

The score was tied 22-22 at halftime but Sacred Heart pulled away in the third quarter (23-12) on their way to a 61-47 victory over Christian Academy of Louisville.  SHA shot 32.9% from the field including one of eight from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 25 CAL turnovers.  CAL shot 34.6% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Centurions connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 SHA turnovers.

Monica McGreal led SHA with 20 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.  Annamarie Campbell added 16 points and 11 rebounds.  Morgan Clemons chipped in with 14 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists.

China Dow led CAL with 21 points, 14 rebounds, and four assists.  Paige Gardner and Kate Joss each scored seven points and Gardner pulled down seven rebounds.
