Boone County coach Nell Fookes started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Sydney Moss, 5-7 Sr. Annie Browning, 5-11 Jr. Lydia Nash, 5-1 Sr. Stacie Shrout, and 5-4 So. Jessica Jones.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-11 Sr. Annamarie Campbell, 5-11 Sr. Monica McGreal, 5-10 Sr. Morgan Clemons, 5-5 Sr. Hannah Washle, and 5-4 Sr. Maddie Peabody.

Boone County defeated Sacred Heart Academy by a score of 55-50.  Boone County led 20-9 in the second quarter but Sacred Heart rallied to lead 39-36 after three quarters.  Sacred Heart increased their lead and held a 50-40 lead with 2:35 minutes left in the game.  Boone County roared back to outscore Sacred Heart 15-0 in the closing minutes to claim the victory.

Boone County shot 34% from the field including five of 21 from the three point line.  The Lady Rebels connected on 16 of 22 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 21 Sacred Heart turnovers.  Sacred Heart shot 42% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on six of 14 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 18 Boone County turnovers.

Sydney Moss led Boone County with 17 points, 16 rebounds, five assists, and seven steals.  Lydia Nash added 13 points and eight rebounds.  Annie Browning chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets.  Stacie Shrout recorded 10 points including two three point baskets.

Monica McGreal led Sacred Heart with 15 points.  Morgan Clemons added 13 points and nine rebounds.  Maddie Peabody chipped in with 12 points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Annamarie Campbell pulled down 10 rebounds.
