Western Hills coach Enoch Welch started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Jalen Clark, 6-0 Sr. Jordan Barass, 6-4 Jr. Logan Curry, 5-7 Sr. Marcus Howard, and 6-0 Jr. Ryan Barass.  Sayre coach Ted Hall countered with 6-1 Jr. Reid Freeman, 5-10 Sr. Cabot Haggin, 6-6 So. Ray Brewer, 5-9 Sr. Griffin Miller, and 5-9 So. Mike Smith.

Sayre defeated Western Hills tonight by a score of 78-58.  Sayre shot 51.8% from the field including four of nine from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 16 of 18 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 19 Western Hills turnovers.  Western Hills shot 42.1% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Wolverines connected on eight of 16 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Sayre turnovers.

Mike Smith had another big night leading Sayre with 32 points, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  Smith was 13 of 18 from the field including two of two from beyond the arc, and four of five from the free throw line.  Cabot Haggin and 6-3 Sr. Griffin Patterson each scored nine points.  Ray Brewer chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds.

Jalen Clark led Western Hills with 12 points.  Logan Curry added 11 points and 10 rebounds.6-0 Sr. Marcus Moore chipped in with nine points.
