Butler coach Larry Just started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Megan Cureton, 5-9 So. Aareon Smith, 5-9 Fr. Danielle Lawrence, 5-6 Sr. Heather Wheat, and 5-7 Jr. Mackenzie Martinez.  duPont Manual coach Stacy Pendleton countered with 5-8 Sr. Taylor Zuberer 5-8 Sr. Nicole Lauterbach, 5-10 Sr. Mechael Guess, 5-6 Jr. LeAsia Wright, and 5-4 Sr. Raven Hester.

Manual defeated Butler by a score of 58-50.  Manual shot 45.8% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Crimsons connected on nine of 20 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 Butler turnovers.  Butler shot 40.9% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc.  The Bearettes connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 11  points off 17 Manual turnovers.

Mechael Guess led Manual with 23 points and 11 rebounds.  Guess was nine of 11 from the field including one of two from beyond the arc, and four of six from the free throw line.  LeAsia Wright added 18 points including two three point baskets.  6-1 So Kayla Styles pulled down eight rebounds and blocked four shots.

Heather Wheat and Aareon Smith led Butler with 12 points each.  Danielle Lawrence added eight points and seven rebounds.
