Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Annamarie Campbell, 5-11 Sr. Monica McGreal, 5-10 Sr. Morgan Clemons, 5-5 Sr. Hannah Washle, and 5-4 Sr. Maddie Peabody.  Bullitt East coach Chris Stalling countered with 5-11 Sr. Meredith Polson, 5-7 Sr. Whitney Stansbury, 6-2 Sr. Lindey Young, 5-7 Sr. Jessica Philpott, and 5-8 Jr. Nikole Isabel.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Bullitt East by a score of 69-55.  SHA shot 53.7% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 21 of 27 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 20 Bullitt East turnovers.  Bullitt East shot 39.1% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Chargers connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 17 SHA turnovers.

Maddie Peabody led Sacred Heart Academy with 18 points including three three point baskets and dished out six assists.  Hannah Washle added 17 points.  Washle was four of four from the field and nine of 11 from the free throw line.  Monica McGreal chipped in with 15 points and 5-6 Fr. Raven Merriweather also reached double figures with 11 points.  Morgan Clemons recorded five points, eight rebounds, and five assists. 

Lindey Young led Bullitt East with 17 points and 12 rebounds.  Nikole Isabel also recorded 17 points and had four steals.  Meredith Polson added 10 points, eight rebounds, and four steals.
