Trinity vs. Cincinnati Elder

Trinity ran for 409 yards and passed for another 177 yards in a 56-7 rout of Elder to improve their record to 3-0 for the season. Elder drops to 2-1 for the season. Trinity recorded 24 first downs and 586 yards of total offense. The Shamrocks were penalized nine times for 120 yards. Elder recorded 12 first downs and 181 yards of total offense. They had one pass intercepted.
Garrett Sauer led Trinity’s ground game with 163 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. Dalyn Dawkins added 124 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. Travis Wright completed 14 of 18 passes for 177 yards and three touchdowns. James Quick caught seven passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns. A. Reynolds led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles. C. Hill and H. Brewer added two solo and five assisted tackles each.
A. Burdine led Elder’s ground game with 59 yards and a touchdown on four carries. J. Moore completed five of 12 passes for 66 yards. J. Borherr, J. Ramstetter, and J. White each caught two passes for 31, 30, and 28 yards respectively. A. Niehauser led Elder’s defense with three solo and five assisted tackles. S. Miliano added two solo and two assisted tackles.
