Woodford County coach Scott Hundley started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Addison Hollin, 6-2 Sr. William Starcher, 6-4 Sr. Dave Greenwell, 5-10 So. Eli Boggess, and 6-1 Sr. Rodney Gross.  Western Hills coach Steve Woolridge countered with 6-0 Sr. Ryan Barrass, 5-11 Jr. Kevin Booth, 6-3 Sr. Logan Curry, 5-9 Jr. Robbie Fox, and 5-8 Sr. Jordan Kendall.

Woodford County finally pulled away from a scrappy Western Hills team in the fourth quarter to earn a 69-53 victory.  The game was close through three quarters until Woodford County made their final surge.  Woodford County shot 48.3% from the field including one of 13 from the three point line.  The Jackets connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 20 Western Hills turnovers.  Western Hills shot 42.2% from the field including two of seven from beyond the arc.  The Wolverines connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored three points off 13 Woodford County turnovers.

Rodney Gross led Woodford County with 29 points, seven rebounds, and four steals.  Dave Greenwell added 19 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.  William Starcher recorded nine points and five steals.

Ryan Barrass led Western Hills with 16 points.  Logan Curry added 14 points and six rebounds.  Kevin Booth recorded nine points and five rebounds.
