Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Taylor Mynear, 5-7 Sr. Emily Justice, 5-11 So. Sarah Cooley, 5-5 Sr. Sarah Martin, and 5-6 So. Ken’yale Demus.  Franklin County coach Joey Thacker countered with 5-9 Jr. Megan Gearhart, 5-7 Jr. Lauren Taylor, 5-11 Sr. Ashli Mayes, 5-5 Jr. Raven Timmons, and 5-4 So. Nannilena White.

Franklin County scored 29 points off 31 Lafayette turnovers in a 60-47 victory.  Franklin County raced out to a 15-5 first quarter lead and was never threatened the rest of the way.  Franklin County shot 35.8% from the field including one of eight from the three point line.  The Lady Flyers connected on 21 of 29 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and held an 11-2 advantage in second effort points.  Lafayette shot 43.9% from the field including seven of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on four of five free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Franklin County turnovers.

Raven Timmons led Franklin County with 20 points.  Ashli Mayes added 13 points and 13 rebounds.  Lauren Taylor chipped in with nine points.

Sarah Martin led Lafayette with 11 points including three three point baskets.  5-10 Fr. Dee Givens added nine points and four steals.  Ken’yale Demus chipped in with eight points.
