Trinity coach Mike Szabo started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Darryl Hicks, 6-2 Sr. Troy Saxton, 6-5 Sr. Nathan Dieudonne, 5-10 Jr. Miles Rice, and 6-1 Sr. Charles Foster. Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Ivey, 6-1 Sr. Josh Harris, 6-3 Sr. Tamron Manning, 5-11 So. Trenton Gilbert, and 5-10 Jr. Quin Richardson.
Scott County took an early lead in the first quarter but Trinity rallied to pull away for a 90-77 victory. Trinity shot 55.6% from the field including seven of 17 from the three point line. The Shamrocks connected on 23 of 29 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 19 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 43.9% from the field including seven of 17 from beyond the arc. The Cardinals connected on 20 of 28 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 24 Trinity turnovers.
Troy Saxton led Trinity with 26 points including four three point baskets. Nathan Dieudonne added 20 points and six rebounds. Charles Foster and Darryl Hicks added 14 and 11 points respectively.
Tamron Manning led Scott County with 26 points including three three point baskets and pulled down seven rebounds. Isaiah Ivey and Josh Harris added 19 and 10 points respectively.
