Madison Central  vs.  Lafayette

Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Quan Taylor, 6-1 Sr. John O’Bryan, 6-6 Sr.Hunter Allen, 6-0 Jr. Kenjah Bosley, and 6-0 Jr. Dominique Hawkins. (Note: Taylor only played 1:56 minutes before taking a hard fall driving for the basket and did not return to the game).  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-5 Jr. Nick Trisko, 6-3 Jr. Ethan Burlingham, 6-7 So. Jackson Davis, 5-10 So. Lance Blakley, and 6-3 Jr. Tranard Chester.

Madison Central raced out to a 41-23 halftime lead on their way to an 81-70 victory over Lafayette.  Madison Central shot 40.3% from the field including two of 13 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 25 of 41 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 31 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 44.6% from the field including eight of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Madison Central turnovers.

Hunter Allen led Madison Central with 20 points and 10 rebounds.  Kenjah Bosley added 19 points, five rebounds, and four steals.  John O’Bryan chipped in with 16 points.  Dominique Hawkins recorded 15 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and five steals.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 21 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and three blocked shots.  Tranard Chester added 19 points including three three point baskets.

Lafayette (70) – Trisko 8, Burlingham 6, Davis 21, Blakley 3, Chester 19, Sweat-Washington 5, Wright 6, Jeter 2.
