Mercy Academy coach Mark Evans started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Victoria Dircksen, 5-10 Sr. Christine Roush, 5-11 Sr. Courtney Roush, 5-6 Jr. Kayla Richardson, and 5-7 Jr. Whitney Hartlage.  CAL coach Don Rice countered with 5-9 Jr. Tattyianna Taylor, 5-8 Sr. Megan Brown, 5-11 Jr. China Dow, 5-6 Sr. Katie Shaheen, and 5-8 Sr. Paige Gardner.

The score was tied 39-39 after three quarters but Mercy rallied for a 6-54 victory over CAL in a competitive hard fought contest.  Mercy shot 36.2% from the field including two of 16 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 24 of 32 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 21 CAL turnovers.  CAL shot 31% from the field including five of 25 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Centurions connected on 13 of 24 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 21 Mercy turnovers.

Christine Roush led Mercy with 17 points.  Whitney Hartlage added 15 points including 10 of 10 free throws and pulled down nine rebounds.  Courtney Roush recorded nine points and seven rebounds.

China Dow led CAL with 25 points including four three point baskets and pulled down 16 rebounds.  Tattyianna Taylor added 14 points and 12 rebounds.  Paige Gardner chipped in with nine points.
