Sacred Heart Academy  vs.  Seneca (Girls)

Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Sandy Gahafer, 5-6 So. Raven Merriweather, 6-1 Sr. Jazmin Smith, 5-6 Jr. Kristin Matula, and 5-6 Sr. Jade Tubb.  Seneca coach Latasha Peterson countered with 6-0 Jr. Keaira Pennie, 6-0 Jr. Sabrina Jackson, 6-4 Jr. Ashley Leach, 5-9 Jr. Niya Anderson, and 5-8 Jr. Jada Grady.

Sacred Heart scored 40 points off 30 Seneca turnovers in an 89-51 victory.  Sacred Heart shot 60.3% from the field including two of 10 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 17 of 28 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and held a 44-4 advantage in bench scoring.  Seneca shot 32.7% from the field including one of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Redhawks connected on 18 of 21 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Raven Merriweather led Sacred Heart with 18 points.  5-9 So. DaiJia Ruffin, 5-4 Fr. Ashley Johnson, and Jazmin Smith added 14, 13, and 10 points respectively.

Keaira Pennie led Seneca with 13 points and 12 rebounds.  Sabrina Jackson and Ashley Leach added 13 and 10 points respectively.
