Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Taylor Mynear, 5-7 Sr. Emily Justice, 5-11 So. Sarah Cooley, 5-5 Sr. Sarah Martin, and 5-6 So. Ken’yale Demus.  LCA coach Jason Seamands countered with 5-7 Jr. Kristin Rinehart, 5-8 So. Katelin Bundy, 6-1 Sr. Kristen Jacob, 5-6 8^th grader Hannah Hartley, and 5-4 Sr. Kelli Mitchuson.

Lafayette eked out a 48-46 victory over Lexington Christian Academy tonight.  Lafayette shot 44.2% from the field including four of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 41.5% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.

Ken’yale Demus led Lafayette with 15 points including four three point baskets.  Sarah Cooley added 14 points and nine rebounds.

Kristen Jacob led LCA with 16 points and 14 rebounds.  Katelin Bundy added 14 points.
