Tates Creek  vs.  Lafayette

Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Braxton McFarland, 6-2 Sr. Darius Gibson, 6-4 Fr. Jordan Fucci, 6-0 Sr. Dai Quan Epps, and 6-0 Jr. Vincent Mattox.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-5 Jr. Nick Trisko, 6-3 Jr. Ethan Burlingham, 6-7 So. Jackson Davis, 5-10 So. Lance Blakley, and 6-3 Jr. Tranard Chester.

Tates Creek defeated Lafayette by a score of 61-46.  Tates Creek shot 45.5% from the field including one of five from the three point line.  The Commodores connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 22 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 40.8% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc.  The generals connected on four of seven from the free throw line, and scored nine points off 13 Tates Creek turnovers.

Dai Quan Epps led Tates Creek with 17 points and seven rebounds.  Darius Gibson added 16 points and Jordan Fucci chipped in with 13 points and six rebounds.  Braxton McFarland recorded eight points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

Nick Trisko led Lafayette with 15 points and 13 rebounds.  Jackson Davis added 10 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists.
