Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Emily Justice, 5-7 Sr. Aleisha Stiltner, 6-0 So. Sarah Cooley, 5-5 Sr. Sarah Martin, and 5-6 So. Ken’yale Demus. Paul L. Dunbar coach Sarah Van Horn countered with 5-10 Jr. Lakeena Parks, 5-6 Jr. Lexus Edwards, 6-2 So. Brooke Todd, 5-2 Jr. Jordin Fender, and 5-2 Jr. Kierra Muhammad.
Dunbar scored 24 points off 29 Lafayette turnovers in a 51-37 victory tonight. Dunbar shot 33.8% from the field including one of 12 from the three point line. The Lady bulldogs connected on four of 11 free throws and pulled down 42 rebounds. Lafayette shot 24.5% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored five points off 15 Dunbar turnovers.
Jordin Fender led Dunbar with 18 points, five rebounds, and four steals. Lakeena Parks added 12 points, five rebounds, and four steals. Brooke Todd recorded six points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.
Sarah Cooley led Lafayette with 12 points and 18 rebounds.
