West Jessamine  vs.  Mercer County

West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Heath Jackson, 6-2 So. Daulton Peters, 6-5 Sr. DeShawn Eubanks,  6-0 So. Will Henderson, and 6-1 Sr. Jeff Ziemann.  Mercer County coach Brian Britt countered with 6-1 So. Russell Sims, 5-10 8th grader Drew Davis, 6-1 Jr. Jordan Duncan, 5-7 Sr. Austin Horn, and 5-10 Jr. John Ingram.

West Jessamine defeated Mercer county by a score of 63-58.  West Jessamine shot 52.9% from the field including two of eight from the three point line.  The Colts connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Mercer County turnovers.  Mercer County shot 36.5% from the field including six of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Titans connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 23 West Jessamine turnovers.

6-3 Jr. Chase Fain led West Jessamine with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Fain was eight of nine from the field including one of one from beyond the arc and one of two from the free throw line.  Daulton Peters added 16 points.  Heath Jackson recorded 14 points.  Will Henderson dished out eight assists.

John Ingram led Mercer County with 28 points and 10 rebounds.  Russell Sims added nine points.
