Woodford County coach Scott Hundley started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Landon Young, 6-4 Sr. David Greenwell, 6-5 Jr. Chase Henderlight, 6-2 Sr. William Starcher, and 6-1 Sr. Rodney Gross.  Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus countered with 6-5 Jr. Quan Taylor, 6-1 Sr. John O’Bryan, 6-6 Sr. Hunter Allen, 6-0 Jr. Ken-Jah  Bosley, and 6-0 Jr. Dominique Hawkins.

Madison Central led 36-32 at halftime and pulled away in the third quarter on their way to a 72-61 victory over Woodford County.  Madison Central shot 54% from the field including two of nine from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 16 of 24 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Woodford county turnovers.  Woodford County shot 46.9% from the field including six of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Jackets connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 Madison Central turnovers.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 22 points including 10 of 11 free throws.  Quan Taylor added 12 points and seven rebounds.  Hunter Allen chipped in with eight points and nine rebounds.

David Greenwell led Woodford County with 17 points and five rebounds.  Rodney Gross added 13 points and five rebounds.  William Starcher chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets.
