Sayre coach Scotty Sutton started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Maddie Mitchell, 5-7 So. Grace Rahman, 6-3 Fr. Gabby Bowie, 5-5 Sr. Sophie O’Rourke, and 5-7 Sr. Emily Culbertson.  Model coach Ronald Preece countered with 5-8 So. Madison Keene, 5-8 So. Darrian Botts, 5-10 Sr. Tara Hill, 5-6 Sr. Madison Schneid, and 5-7 Fr. Hayley Hunt.

Sayre defeated Model by a score of 40-38.  Sayre shot 46.2% from the field including two of five from the three point line.  The Lady Spartans connected on two of six free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 16 Model turnovers.  Model shot 31.8% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Patriots connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Sayre turnovers.

Gabby Bowie led Sayre with 14 points, eight rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Maddie Mitchell added 12 points and five rebounds.  Emily Culbertson recorded nine points and seven assists.

Darrian Botts led Model with 13 points.  Tara Hill added 12 points and eight rebounds.  Madison Schneid recorded 10 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
