Bryan Station coach Mike Allen started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Larry Morton, 6-2 Sr. Marcus Williams, 6-0 Fr. C.J. Walker, 5-10 Jr. Tyler Smith, and 6-1 Sr. Jaylen Beckham. Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus countered with 6-5 Jr. Quan Taylor, 6-1 Sr. John O’Bryan, 6-6 Sr. Hunter Allen, 6-0 Jr. Ken-Jah Bosley, and 6-0 Jr. Dominique Hawkins.
Madison Central defeated Bryan Station by a score of 75-71. Madison Central shot 52% from the field including five of 10 from the three point line. The Indians connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 22 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 42% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc. The Defenders connected on 24 of 33 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 22 Madison Central turnovers.
Ken-Jah Bosley led Madison Central with 21 points including 11 of 13 free throws. Dominique Hawkins added 18 points and John O’Bryan chipped in with 17 points. Quan Taylor recorded 11 points, nine rebounds, and five blocked shots.
Jaylen Beckham led Bryan Station with 30 points, eight rebounds, and five steals. Beckham was 10 of 17 from the field including three of six from the three point line, and seven of 10 from the free throw line. Marcus Williams and Larry Morton added 14 and 13 points respectively.
