West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Chase Fain, 6-2 So. Daulton Peters, 6-5 Sr. DeShawn Eubanks, 6-0 So. Will Henderson, and 6-1 Sr. Jeff Ziemann.  Somerset coach Don Daniel countered with 6-1 Sr. Alex Lange, 6-0 Jr. Tyler Megargel, 6-7 Jr. Ryan Weddle, 5-10 So. Cam Cheuvront, and 5-10 Jr. Matt Gordon.

West Jessamine shot a sizzling 63.2% from the field including 78.9% in the first half and 90.3% from the free throw line in an 80-70 victory over Somerset.  West Jessamine shot 63.2% from the field including four of seven from the three point line.  The Colts connected on 28 of 31 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Somerset turnovers.  Somerset shot 39.7% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Briar Jumpers connected on 20 of 28 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 19 West Jessamine turnovers.

Daulton Peters led West Jessamine with 20 points.  Peters was six of nine from the field and eight of 10 from the free throw line.  6-1 Sr. Heath Jackson added 19 points.  Jackson was five of five from the field including one of one from beyond the arc, and eight of eight from the free throw line. Chase Fain recorded 18 points and 11 rebounds.  Will Henderson chipped in with 12 points, six assists, and four steals.

Matt Gordon led five Somerset players in double figures with 16 points, four assists, and three steals.  Alex Lange, Cam Cheuvront, Tyler Megargel, and Ryan Weddle added 14, 13, 11, and 11 points respectively.  Weddle also pulled down seven rebounds.
