Paul L. Dunbar coach Sarah Van Horn started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Morgan McEldowney, 5-10 Jr. Lakeena Parks, 6-1 So. Brooke Todd, 5-4 Jr. Jordin Fender, and 5-4 Jr. Kierra Muhammad.  Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-10 Jr. MacKenzie Claus, 5-8 Sr. Sydney Dunham, 5-4 Sr. Ceci Evans, 5-6 Jr. Samantha Kinchen, and 5-6 Fr. Destiny Carter.

Paul Dunbar utilized their quickness, athleticism, and defensive tenacity to earn a 61-34 victory over Henry Clay tonight.  Dunbar shot 41.5% from the field including one of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 30 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry clay shot 21.1% from the field including one of five from beyond the arc.  The Lady blue Devils connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored seven points off 22 Dunbar turnovers.

Kierra Muhammad led Dunbar with 20 points and six steals.  Jordin Fender added 18 points and six steals.  Lakeena Parks chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds.  Brooke Todd recorded six points, 10 rebounds, and seven blocked shots.

MacKenzie Claus led Henry Clay with nine points and five rebounds.  Sydney Dunham added eight points.  5-11 So. Areanna Porter pulled down 12 rebounds.
