Lexington Christian Academy coach Tommy Huston started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Jon Lannertone, 6-2 Jr. Taylor Blair, 6-5 Fr. Matt Rose, 5-8 Jr. Tyler Harville, and 6-1 Sr. Patrick Nickodem. Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-8 Jr. Nick Trisko, 6-7 Jr. Ethan Burlingham, 6-8 So. Jackson Davis, 6-0 So. Lance Blakley, and 6-3 Jr. Tranard Chester.
Lafayette outscored Lexington Christian Academy 29-8 in the third quarter on their way to a 78-50 victory. Lafayette shot 40.3% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line. The Generals connected on 20 of 33 free throws, pulled down 53 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 26 LCA turnovers. Lafayette held a 23-7 advantage in second effort points. LCA shot 27.7% from the field including four of 18 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on 20 of 30 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 21 Lafayette turnovers.
Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 22 points, 18 rebounds, and four blocked shots. Tranard Chester added 14 points, four assists, and five steals. Nick Trisko chipped in with 13 points and eight rebounds. 6-7 Jr. Charles Sweat-Washington also reached double figures with 11 points.
Tyler Harville led LCA with 16 points including three three point baskets. Jon Lannertone added seven points and 12 rebounds.
