West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-2 So. Daulton Peters, 6-2 Jr. Robby Irgang, 6-3 Jr. Chase Fain, 6-0 So. Will Henderson, and 6-1 Sr. Jeff Ziemann.  Holmes coach Jason Booher countered with Jared Martin, 6-1 Sr. Charles Knox, 6-4 Sr. Dontel Rice, 5-11 Jr. B.J. Coston, and 5-10 Jr. Daquan Palmer.

Holmes defeated West Jessamine by a score of 62-54.  Holmes shot 41.5% from the field including eight of 21 from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 40.4% from the field including seven of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on five of six free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored six points off six Holmes turnovers.

Dontel Rice led Holmes with 24 points and nine rebounds.  Rice was 10 of 15 from the field including one of two from the three point line and three of four from the free throw line.  Daquan Palmer added 15 points.  B.J. Coston chipped in with 14 points including four three point baskets.

Chase Fain led West Jessamine with 11 points including three three point baskets, seven rebounds, and five assists.  Daulton Peters and Will Henderson added 11 and 10 points respectively.
