Lexington Catholic coach Chelsea Chowning started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Alex Botkin, 6-0 Sr. Emily Johns, 6-0 Sr. Elizabeth Walton, 5-8 Sr. Bonnie Rhule, and 5-9 Jr. Octavia Wilson.  George Rogers Clark coach Scott True countered with 5-9 Sr. Taylor Rose, 5-9 Fr. Sandra Skinner, 5-6 Fr. Paige Taylor, 5-5 So. Lexxus Graham, and 5-5 Sr. Kelsie Parido.

Lexington Catholic’s defense held George Roger Clark to 22.7% from the field in a 57-29 victory tonight.  Lexington Catholic shot 35.8% from the field including five of 21 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 14 of 20 from the free throw line, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 20 GRC turnovers.  GRC shot 22.7% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on seven of 16 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored two points off 12 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Elizabeth Walton led Lexington Catholic with 15 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and four steals.  Octavia Wilson added 13 points and four steals.  Emily Johns chipped in with nine points and seven rebounds.  5-9 Fr. Rachel Blake pulled down nine rebounds.

Sandra Skinner led GRC with eight points and nine rebounds.  Lexxus Graham added six points.  6-2 So. Maddie Hamlin recorded five points and six rebounds.
