Ballard coach Steve Kaufman started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Kiana Richardson, 5-9 So. Dre’A Matchen, 6-2 Jr. Maddie Martin, 5-7 Sr. Daryius Franklin, and 5-7 Fr. Alex Martin.  Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 6-1 Jr. Ashton Feldhaus, 5-9 Jr. Heather Hinkle, 5-10 Sr. Kristen Congleton, 5-6 Sr. Ashley Hinkle, and 5-5 Jr. Larryn Brooks.

Madison Central defeated Ballard by a score of 70-42.  Madison Central shot 44.1% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Ballard turnovers.  Ballard shot 24.6% from the field including two of seven from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bruins connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 Madison Central turnovers.

Ashton Feldhaus led Madison Central with 22 points and 10 rebounds.  Larryn Brooks added 19 points, seven rebounds, and four steals.

Alex Martin led Ballard with 11 points and five rebounds.  Daryius Franklin added seven points and eight rebounds.  Dre’A Matchen also scored seven points and recorded four steals.
