LaRue County coach Travis Wootton started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Haley Holt, 6-0 So. Ivy Brown, 6-2 Jr. Alisha Durbin, 5-6 Sr. Shane Zajdel, and 5-9 Fr. Alexis Brewer. Elizabethtown coach Tim Mudd countered with 6-0 8th grader Erin Boley, 5-11 Sr. Kaylyn Cecil, 5-10 Sr. Darian Ditto, 5-9 Jr. Alexis Powell, and 5-5 Fr. Darien Huff.
Elizabethtown led 17-0 after the first quarter in a 57-48 victory over LaRue County. Elizabethtown shot 41% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line. The Lady Panthers connected on 21 of 26 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine LaRue County turnovers. LaRue County shot 36.5% from the field including three of seven from beyond the arc. They connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 12 Elizabethtown turnovers.
Erin Boley led Elizabethtown with 16 points and seven rebounds. 6-1 Fr. Reaunna Cleaver added 11 points. Kaylyn Cecil chipped in with 10 points. Alexis Powell recorded eight points and 11 rebounds.
Ivy Brown led LaRue county with 24 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and four steals. Alexis Brewer added 20 points.
