Bryan Station coach Donna Murphy started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Victoria McCoy, 5-8 Jr. Serena Sandusky, 6-1 Jr. Hallie Crumbie, 5-7 Jr. Deshante Clay, and 5-5 Sr. Detierra Carpenter.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 6-0 So. Sarah Cooley, 5-11 Fr. Dee Givens, 6-3 Fr. Ashanti Thomas, 5-5 Sr. Sarah Martin, and 5-6 Ken’yale Demus.

Bryan Station led 30-18 in the third quarter and withstood a Lafayette rally to earn a 50-47 victory.  Bryan Station shot 34.6% from the field including two of seven from the three point line.  The Lady Defenders connected on 12 of 23 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 23 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 34.7% from the field including five of eight from beyond the arc.  The Lady generals connected on eight of 17 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 19 Bryan Station turnovers.

Victoria McCoy led Bryan Station with 21 points and seven rebounds.  Serena Sandusky added 13 points and five steals.  Deshante Clay chipped in with nine points and seven rebounds.  Hallie Crumbie pulled down six rebounds and blocked six shots.

Ashanti Thomas led Lafayette with 11 points, 13 rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Sarah Martin added eight points including two three point baskets and Sarah Cooley chipped in with six points and eight rebounds.
