Sayre coach Scott Sutton started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Maddie Mitchell, 5-7 So. Grace Rahman, 6-3 Fr. Gabby Bowie, 5-5 Sr. Sophie O’Rourke, and 5-7 Sr. Emily Culbertson.  Nicholas County coach Erin Walker countered with 5-9 Jr. Elizabeth Johnson, 5-7 Jr. Shelby Wade, 5-9 Sr. Robyn Cohorn, 5-2 Fr. Megan Bretz, and 5-3 7^th grader Grace Kiskaden.

Sayre defeated Nicholas County by a score of 39-33.  Sayre shot 35% from the field including zero of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Spartans connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 18 Nicholas County turnovers.  Nicholas County shot 23.4% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Jackets connected on eight of 19 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored three points off 13 Sayre turnovers.

Maddie Mitchell led Sayre with 18 points and eight rebounds.  Gabby Bowie added 15 points, eight rebounds, and eight blocked shots.

Morgan Bretz led Nicholas County with 11 points and seven rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Reesa Martin pulled down 10 rebounds.
