Burgin coach Don Irvine started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Alex Beckerson, 5-10 Sr. Travis McEachern, 6-5 Sr. Sam Irvine, 5-10 Sr. Austin Shewmaker, and 5-8 Jr. Jared Robbins.  West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-2 Jr. Robby Irgang, 6-2 So. Daulton Peters, 6-5 Sr. DeShawn Eubanks, 5-9 So. Lane Brooks, and 6-1 Sr. Jeff Ziemann.

West Jessamine outscored Burgin 24-16 in the third quarter on their way to a 78-66 victory.  West Jessamine shot 54.5% from the field including a sizzling 12 of 17 from the three point line.  The Colts connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 12 Burgin turnovers.  Burgin shot 48.9% from the field including three of seven from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 13 West Jessamine turnovers.

Daulton Peters led West Jessamine with 26 points and seven rebounds.  6-3 Jr. Chase Fain added 18 points, five assists, and four steals.  6-1 Sr. Heath Jackson chipped in with 12 points.  Jeff Ziemann recorded nine points on three three point baskets

Travis McEachern led Burgin with 21 points.  McEachern was seven of eight from the field including one of two from the three point line, and six of seven from the free throw line.  Alex Beckerson added 19 points and seven rebounds.  Austin Shewmaker chipped in with 12 points.
