Sayre coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Philip O’Rourke, 6-1 Sr. Reid Freeman, 6-6 Jr. Ray Brewer, 6-0 Jr. Duncan Courtney, and 6-0 So. Justin Sanders.  Pendleton County coach Chad Simms countered with 6-1 Sr. Gabe Antrobus, 5-10 Jr. Garrett Appleman, 6-4 Sr. Jared Rering, 5-8 Jr. Aaron Gibson, and 5-10 Jr. Mason Monroe.

Pendleton County defeated Sayre by a score of 59-52.  There were 11 lead changes and six ties in this game.  Pendleton County shot 40.4% from the field including nine of 22 from the three point line.  The Wildcats connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 13 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 46.5% from the field including seven of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Spartans connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored two points off six Pendleton County turnovers.

Jared Rering led Pendleton County with 19 points including four three point baskets.  Mason Monroe added 17 points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Garrett Appleman chipped in with 11 points.

Reid Freeman led Sayre with 23 points including six three point baskets and eight assists.  Freeman was eight of 14 from the field including six of seven from the three point line and one of two from the free throw line.  Ray Brewer added 20 points and 13 rebounds.  Brewer was nine of 16 from the field and two of four from the free throw line.
