Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Quan Taylor, 6-1 Sr. John O’Bryan, 6-6 Sr. Hunter Allen, 6-1 Jr. Ken-Jah Bosley, and 6-1 Jr. Dominique Hawkins.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-6 Sr. Patrick Keller, 6-5 Sr. Craig Floyd, 6-9 Jr. Jack Whitman, 5-10 Jr. Dillon Avare, and 5-10 Sr. Bryan Woomer.

Madison Central defeated Lexington Catholic by a score of 72-57.  Lexington Catholic led 20-11 early in the second quarter but Madison Central went on a 20-0 run to take a 31-20 lead and control of the game.  Madison Central’s guards held a 48-3 advantage over Lexington Catholic guards in points scored tonight.

Madison Central shot 54.3% from the field including five of 10 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 17 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 42% from the field including 10 of 26 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on five of 11 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Madison Central turnovers.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 28 points.  Ken-Jah Bosley added 20 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Quan Taylor chipped in with 13 points and seven rebounds.  Hunter Allen pulled down 12 rebounds.

Craig Floyd led Lexington Catholic with 23 points including seven three point baskets.  Jack Whitman added 18 points and eight rebounds but fouled out after logging 19:26 minutes of playing time.  Patrick Keller chipped in with 10 points.
