West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Robby Irgang, 6-2 So. Daulton Peters, 6-3 Jr. Chase Fain, 6-1 Sr. Heath Jackson, and 6-1 Sr. Jeff Ziemann.  Woodford County coach Scott Hundley countered with 6-4 Sr. David Greenwell, 6-4 Sr. Addison Hollin, 6-7 Sr. Jay Johnson, 6-1 Sr. Rodney Gross, and 6-2 Sr. William Starcher. 

Woodford County defeated West Jessamine by a score of 91-85.  Woodford County led 39-37 at halftime then outscored West Jessamine 30-16 in the third quarter to lead 69-53 after three quarters.  West Jessamine outscored Woodford County 32-22 in the final quarter to cut the final margin to six points; 91-85.

Woodford County shot 55.2% from the field including 12 of 18 from the three point line.  The Yellow Jackets connected on 15 of 20 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 21 West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 58.2% from the field including eight of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 16 Woodford County turnovers.

Jay Johnson led Woodford County with 24 points, 10 rebounds, four blocked shots, and three steals.  Johnson was seven of nine from the field including one of one from the three point line, and nine of 10 from the free throw line.  David Greenwell added 21 points including three three point baskets.  Rodney Gross recorded 17 points including three three point baskets, four assists, and four steals.

Heath Jackson led West Jessamine with 19 points including three three point baskets.  Chase Fain added 18 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Daulton Peters chipped in with 12 points.  Jeff Ziemann recorded 12 points on five of five from the field including two of two from beyond the arc.  Robby Irgang added 11 points, five rebounds, and nine steals.
