Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-4 So. Jordan Green, 6-1 Sr. Alex Blackburn, 6-5 Jr. Darien Tichenor, 5-8 Sr. Wes Kimball, and 6-0 So. Christen Cunningham.  Montgomery County coach Tony Wise countered with 6-5 Jr. Omar Prewitt, 6-2 So. Darius Jones, 6-2 Sr. Keenan Kelley, 5-8 So. Austin Crisp, and 5-10 Sr. Brandon Fruth.

Henry Clay captured a 59-57 victory on the road tonight over Montgomery County.  Henry Clay shot 45.5% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on four of 12 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 17 Montgomery County turnovers.  Henry Clay attempted 15 more shots (55-40) from the field than Montgomery County.  Montgomery County shot 57.5% from the field including six of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 10 points off six Henry Clay turnovers.

Jordan Green led Henry Clay with 21 points.  Wes Kimball added nine points.  Darien Tichenor, Christen Cunningham, and 5-11 So. Teddy Ware each recorded eight points.  Darien Tichenor and Alex Blackburn each recorded six rebounds.

Omar Prewitt led Montgomery County with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists.  Prewitt was 11 of 17 from the field including four of six from the three point line, and three of four from the free throw line. Austin Crisp added eight points, four rebounds, and six assists.
