Lexington Christian Academy coach Tommy Huston started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Taylor Blair, 6-1 Sr. Patrick Nickodem, 6-3 Jr. Jon Lannertone, 5-8 Jr. Tyler Harville, and 6-0 Sr. Jon Hale.  Fern Creek coach Deandre Layfield countered with 6-2 Sr. Jamie Carr, 6-3 Sr. Justin Newby, 6-4 Sr. Derrick Walker, 5-9 Sr. Michael Parrish, and 5-10 Sr. O’Brien Hobbs.

Fern Creek led 26-9 after the first quarter in a 67-42 victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  Fern Creek shot 52.2% from the field including nine of 16 from the three point line.  The Tigers connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 37% from the field including eight of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on zero of four free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 11 Fern Creek turnovers.

O’Brien Hobbs led Fern Creek with 17 points including four three point baskets.  Jermaine Lee added 13 points.  Justin Newby chipped in with 12 points.  Jamie Carr recorded nine points, six rebounds, and six steals.

6-2 Sr. Travis Branham led LCA with 12 points and six rebounds.  Tyler Harville added nine points on three three point baskets.  Patrick Nickodem chipped in with eight points.
