Lafayette  vs.  Louisville Trinity

Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-7 Jr. Charles Sweat-Washington, 6-8 Jr. Nick Trisko, 6-8 So. Jackson Davis, 6-0 So. Lance Blakley, and 6-3 Jr. Tranard Chester.  Trinity coach Mike Szabo countered with 6-0 Sr. Damon Thurman, 5-11 Sr. Hunter Hepler, 6-6 Sr. Nathan Dieudonne, 6-1 Sr. Charles Foster, and 6-2 Sr. Troy Saxton.

Trinity scored 54 points off 38 Lafayette turnovers in a 99-41 victory.  Trinity shot 54.5% from the field including eight of 22 from the three point line.  The Shamrocks connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and held a 51-12 advantage in bench scoring.  Lafayette shot 37.8% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on eight of 16 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Trinity turnovers.

Charles Foster and Troy Saxton led Trinity with 14 points each.  6-4 Jr. Darryl Hicks added 10 points.  5-8 So. Trey Ivory chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets.  Nathan Dieudonne recorded eight points and six rebounds.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with eight points. Charles Sweat-Washington  added seven points and four rebounds.

Trinity      26  22  16  35 – 99

Trinity (99) – Thurman 5, Hepler 7, Dieudonne 8, Foster 14, Saxton 14, Ivory 9, Hicks 10, Page 6, Rice 7, Quick 7, Owens 5, Strothman 7.
