Sayre coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-2 Philip O’Rourke, 6-1 Sr. Reid Freeman, 6-6 Jr. Ray Brewer, 6-0 Jr. Duncan Courtney, and 6-0 So. Justin Sanders.  South Oldham coach Steven Simpson countered with 6-4 Sr. Logan Moutaidior, 6-0 Jr. Matthew Haysley, 6-5 Jr. Jack Sherry, 5-10 Jr. DeVante Jones, and 5-10 Sr. Andrew Pendleton.

South Oldham raced out to a 22-8 first quarter lead on their way to a 79-44 victory over Sayre.  South Oldham shot 52.7% from the field including 11 of 27 from the three point line.  The Dragons connected on 10 of 11 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 22 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 43.6% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Spartans connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored three points off six South Oldham turnovers.

Jack Sherry led South Oldham with 16 points including four three point baskets.  6-0 So. Kyle Young added 15 points including three three point baskets.  Andrew Pendleton and Matthew Haysley each recorded 10 points.  DeVante Jones chipped in with nine points.

Ray Brewer led Sayre with 19 points and 11 rebounds.  Brewer was eight of nine from the field and three of three from the free throw line.  Reid Freeman added 15 points and five rebounds.
