Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-6 So. Trey Grundy, 6-4 So. Jordan Green, 6-5 Jr. Darien Tichenor, 5-8 Sr. Wes Kimball, and 6-0 So. Christen Cunningham.  George Rogers Clark coach Scott Humphrey countered with 6-2 Sr. Charlie Rogers, 5-11 Sr. Dominic Vancleve, 6-6 Sr. Adam Fatkin, 6-0 Sr. Taylor Howard, and 6-1 Sr. Bopper Stenzel.

George Rogers Clark defeated Henry Clay by a score of 64-61.  Charlie Rogers hit a layup at nine seconds left on the clock to give George Rogers Clark a 63-61 lead, followed by a Taylor Howard steal and a Bopper Stenzel free throw in the closing seconds to give the Cardinals a big win.  GRC shot 41.1% from the field including seven of 15 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 46.9% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 14 points off nine GRC turnovers.

Bopper Stenzel led GRC with 18 points.  Adam Fatkin added 14 points and eight rebounds.  Taylor Howard also scored 14 points, pulled down five rebounds, and recorded two steals.  Charlie Rogers chipped in with nine points and 10 rebounds.

Trey Grundy led Henry Clay with 19 points and nine rebounds.  Jordan Green added 16 points and five rebounds.  Christen Cunningham also reached double figures with 12 points.  Darien Tichenor pulled down eight rebounds.
