Western coach Paul Handley started the following lineup: 6-6 Jr. Kenneth Wachira, 6-3 So. Carl Brown, 6-7 So. Chris McCraw, 5-5 Jr. Jamel Clay, and 6-1 Sr. Armond Langford. Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-5 Sr. Tamron Manning, 6-3 Sr. Isaiah Ivey, 6-8 Sr. Matt Peterson, 6-4 Sr. Josh Harris, and 6-0 Sr. Zach Bryant.
Scott County defeated Western by a score of 70-46. Scott County shot 42.4% from the field including two of nine from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 27 Western turnovers. Western shot 35.3% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc. The Warriors connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored eight points off 12 Scott County turnovers.
Isaiah Ivey led Scott County with 23 points and nine rebounds. Ivey was 10 of 15 from the field including zero of one from the three point line and three of four from the free throw line. Josh Harris added 15 points, six rebounds, and four steals. Tamron Manning chipped in with 10 points, eight rebounds, and five steals.
Chris McCraw led Western with 18 points, eight rebounds, and four blocked shots. McCraw was seven of 10 from the field and four of six from the free throw line. Armond Langford added seven points and seven rebounds.
