West Jessamine vs. Franklin County

Ryan Timmons scored on runs of 70, 53, 92, 41, and 31 yards to lead Franklin County to a 42-21 victory over West Jessamine. Franklin County recorded 16 first downs and 464 yards of total offense. The Flyers were penalized eight times for 70 yards, lost a fumble, and had two passes intercepted. West Jessamine recorded 18 first downs and 362 yards of total offense. The Colts were penalized 10 times for 83 yards, lost two fumbles, and had one pass intercepted. Franklin County improves to 6-0 for the year while West Jessamine falls to 1-5.
Ryan Timmons led Franklin County’s ground game with 298 yards and five touchdowns on 10 carries. Logan Woodside completed nine of 13 passes for 110 yards with two interceptions. Greg Maupin caught four passes for 55 yards. Jarrod Marshall led the defense with five solo and 16 assisted tackles, and recovered a fumble. Greg Maupin added four solo and eight assisted tackles. Ryan Northcutt recorded three solo and 10 assisted tackles.
Devin Taylor led West Jessamine’s ground game with 274 yards and three touchdowns on 46 carries. Ryan Horne completed two of four passes for four yards. Robby Irgang caught one pass for three yards. Robby Irgang led the defense with five solo tackles, three assisted tackles, with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards. Irgang also intercepted two passes with 18 return yards. Luke Davis added five solo tackles.
