Franklin County defeated East Jessamine by a score of 35-22. Franklin County recorded 18 first downs and 336 yards of total offense. The Flyers were penalized seven times for 63 yards and lost a fumble. East Jessamine recorded 14 first downs and 281 yards of total offense. The Jaguars were penalized seven times for 50 yards and had two passes intercepted.
Chris Roberts led Franklin County’s ground game with 123 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Logan Woodside carried the ball nine times for 37 yards and a touchdown. Logan Woodside completed 11 of 16 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown. Chris Roberts caught five passes for 34 yards. Greg Maupin added three receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown. Jarod Marshall led the defense with 10 solo and six assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards. Sam Anderson added three solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards.
Jared Caudill led East Jessamine’s ground game with 93 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Kahnen Leslie carried the ball five times for 54 yards. Ronnie Carson completed five of 13 passes for 50 yards with two interceptions. Kahnen Leslie caught two passes for 38 yards. Hayden Tatman led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles. Clay Harrison added five solo and one assisted tackles. T. Edmundson and Derius Robinson each recorded five solo tackles.
