Green County defeated Lexington Christian Academy in overtime by a score of 12-6. Green County recorded 11 first downs and 248 yards of total offense. They were penalized eight times for 70 yards and had a pass intercepted. Lexington Christian Academy recorded 12 first downs and 193 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized three times for 20 yards and had two passes intercepted.
William Sluder led Green County’s ground game with 92 yards on eight carries. Elliot Taylor carried the ball 10 times for 71 yards and a touchdown. Evan Jaggers recorded 50 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. William Sluder completed five of 10 passes for 35 yards with one interception. Dakota Westmoreland caught two passes for 17 yards. Evan Jaggers caught one pass for 15 yards. Garland Russell led the defense with seven solo and six assisted tackles. Christin Williams and George Grider each recorded four solo and five assisted tackles.
Nick Whitman led Lexington Christian Academy’s ground game with 63 yards on 20 carries. Sam Maybriar carried the ball 10 times for 46 yards. Dima Ballard completed 11 of 19 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions. Adam Smith caught five passes for 60 yards. Chandler Sneed added two receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown. Adam Smith led the defense with three solo and five assisted tackles and one interception. Nathan Brittain added four solo and two assisted tackles.
